THE TWENTIETH CENTURY MUSIC
The twentieth century music is divided into 2 parts (for now):
- the classic work
- jazz
The classic work
900 In the classic work is well represented by the works of Hungarian composer Franz Lehar. In 1905 he took the first major success at international level, the opera " The Merry Widow. The
jazz Jazz is a music genre born from the end of 'The nineteenth and early twentieth century in the U.S. for work of black musicians. With absolutely unique characteristics has influenced all the major genres of music.
Among the characteristics of jazz, the most obvious is its sound, so different and unique compared to other music genres. While classical orchestra is looking for maximum consistency between the instruments in jazz but the sounds are "unrelated" to each other because they reflect the personality of each musician. The result is a lively and brilliant sound.
The personality of the individual instruments is further highlighted by 'improvisation, allowing each musician to perform the melody of the song according to its sensitivity, "so his ", changing at will, depending on notes and rhythm of 'inspiration of the moment. Among the most famous musicians remember: Luis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Charlie Parker, Jarret Keih and George Gershwin.
